Sean Fader dies in fatal Oswego car crash

Fatal Oswego car crash death of Sean Fader – Obituary

A tragic car accident claimed the life of 17-year-old Sean Fader on Friday night. Fader, a student at Oswego High School, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Minkler Road that ended with the car catching fire, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

 

The incident occurred around 8:51 p.m. Friday. Authorities reported that Fader was driving southbound on Minkler Road when he lost control, struck a tree, and the vehicle subsequently ignited. He was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The sheriff’s office is currently investigating the accident and working with the Kendall County Coroner’s Office. The Oswego Police Department and the Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District also responded to the scene.

 

In light of Fader’s death, Oswego High School officials have requested that the community refrain from visiting the crash site to ensure safety. Instead, the school has opened a community room from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday for those wishing to gather and remember Fader, with additional opportunities planned.
