Fatal Fresno car accident death of Gloria Garcia – Obituary
On Saturday morning, Gloria Garcia, 74, was struck and killed by a vehicle in north Fresno. The Fresno County Coroner’s Office confirmed her identity on Monday.
The accident occurred near Blackstone and Spruce avenues around 3:19 a.m. Fresno Police officers reported that the driver of the vehicle was heading south on Blackstone Avenue when the collision took place.
Investigators say the driver had the green light at the time of the crash. Unfortunately, Garcia was declared deceased at the scene. Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident, but the investigation is still ongoing.
