Jonathan Perez dies in fatal Pismo Beach stabbing
Fatal Pismo Beach stabbing death of Jonathan Perez – Obituary
The victim of a deadly stabbing in Pismo Beach has been identified as Jonathan Perez. Authorities reported that Perez was fatally attacked by Andrew Rodriguez, 34, from Santa Maria.
The incident occurred on Wednesday evening in the 1200 block of Price Street. Rodriguez, who was known to Perez, has been arrested following an attempted suicide and subsequent hospitalization.
After being released from the hospital, Rodriguez was detained and charged with murder. He remains in custody at San Luis Obispo County Jail without bail. The investigation continues, and anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Jason Stingley at 805-773-2208.
