Fatal Warren County car crash death of John K. Barb – Obituary
Virginia State Police are investigating a deadly accident in Warren County that resulted in the death of John K. Barb, a 44-year-old man from Woodstock.
The incident occurred on Monday at 8:15 p.m. on Interstate 66 near the 6-mile marker. Barb, who was traveling westbound, collided with a dump truck that was accelerating from an entrance ramp.
Barb was pronounced dead at the scene; he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The dump truck driver, who has not been identified, was uninjured and was reported to have been wearing a seatbelt. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
