In Carlton, MN, a 48-year-old man from Grand Lake Township, Adam Forsythe, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Cloquet following a vehicular accident on Wednesday night.
The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office reported that Forsythe was driving a pickup truck when he veered off Highway 210 and collided with the Carlton Laundry building. Despite the building being occupied at the time, no injuries were reported among its occupants, though the structure was significantly damaged.
Both the Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner are investigating the incident. Authorities suspect that impaired driving might have contributed to the crash.
