Jared Vanwinkle dies in fatal Madison County crash
Fatal Madison County crash death of Jared Vanwinkle – Obituary
The identity of the 18-year-old who lost their life in a recent Madison County collision has been confirmed. The coroner has identified the victim as Jared Vanwinkle.
Vanwinkle was killed Tuesday night when he was struck by a vehicle while cycling on Mount Vernon Road near the Rockcastle County boundary. At the time, he was traveling southbound. The coroner notes that Vanwinkle resided in the vicinity of the accident.
It remains unclear if the driver of the vehicle will face any legal consequences.
