Fatal Russell Springs shooting death of Joshua Arnold – Obituary
Joshua Arnold, aged 41, was identified as one of the victims in a tragic shooting incident that occurred Monday evening in Russell Springs, Kentucky. The shooting took place at a mobile home park in south-central Kentucky, resulting in the death of Arnold and a Kentucky sheriff’s deputy.
According to the Russell County Coroner, Arnold was killed during a confrontation that also claimed the life of Russell County deputy Josh Phipps, a former officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department. Kentucky State Police responded to the scene on Bluebird Drive around 5:30 p.m. Monday, where the violence unfolded. Arnold’s body was discovered inside a mobile home by a Kentucky woman who returned to find the scene.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and Kentucky State Police are continuing to probe the circumstances surrounding the incident.
