Fatal Grand Rapids shooting death of Malik Moore – Obituary.
Authorities have identified the victim of a shooting that occurred in northwest Grand Rapids on Wednesday morning as Malik Moore, 29. The Grand Rapids Police Department has classified his death as a homicide.
At approximately 8 a.m., officers responded to reports of a man found in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle on Fremont Avenue NW, near the intersection with Leonard Street NW and Alpine Avenue NW, with visible injuries. Moore was declared dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and there is no information on any arrests or suspects at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
