Justice Golden dies in fatal Rockford shooting
Fatal Rockford shooting death of Justice Golden – Obituary
The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman fatally shot in Rockford as 26-year-old Justice Golden. She was pronounced dead following a shooting that occurred around 7 p.m. on September 18 in the 1700 block of North Rockton Avenue. Upon arrival, Rockford police found her with multiple gunshot wounds.
Golden was transported to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities have named 29-year-old Demond Curry as the suspect in this case. A warrant for his arrest has been issued by the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office, and he is currently at large.
