Lawrence Anthony Scott dies in fatal Spartanburg County car crash
Fatal Spartanburg County car crash death of Lawrence Anthony Scott – Obituary.
A 65-year-old man lost his life on Friday evening following a single-vehicle accident on SC Highway 101. The incident occurred around 6:29 p.m. when a 2014 Honda sedan, heading north near the intersection with Sharon Church Road, veered off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a culvert and then collided with a utility pole before overturning.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office reported that the coroner was called to Spartanburg Medical Center, where Mr. Scott was pronounced dead at 7:36 p.m. He was identified as Lawrence Anthony Scott from Greer. A forensic examination has been scheduled for Saturday.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
