The coroner in Spartanburg County has identified the woman who lost her life in a vehicle collision on Wednesday night. The incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 9 and Birds Eye View.
According to authorities, a car was traveling southbound on Highway 9 when an SUV attempted to turn south from a private driveway. The two vehicles collided, resulting in the tragic accident.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger confirmed that 52-year-old Lisa Bowen from Inman was driving the SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene.
