Fatal Ottawa County motorcycle accident death of Menno Eicher – Obituary
A 24-year-old man from Fairland, Menno Eicher, lost his life in a motorcycle accident late on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, approximately 1.5 miles south of Wyandotte in Ottawa County. The incident took place around 11:13 p.m. on South 642 Road, where Eicher was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle.
He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, where he was pronounced dead due to his injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and it has been confirmed that Eicher was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
OHP Trooper Gibe is overseeing the investigation, with support from local law enforcement.
