Fatal Fayetteville motorcycle crash death of Paulo De Oliviera – Obituary.
A 23-year-old motorcyclist tragically lost his life in Fayetteville while attempting to prevent an accident. At approximately 11:50 a.m., officers from the Fayetteville Police Department arrived at the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and McPherson Avenue.
According to investigators, De Oliviera was riding his motorcycle inbound on Bragg Boulevard when a pedestrian attempted to cross the street. In an effort to avoid a collision, the motorcyclist laid down his bike but slid into a vehicle that was turning left onto McPherson Avenue from Bragg Boulevard.
He was subsequently taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he was declared dead.
