A woman from Kalamazoo was tragically struck and killed by a vehicle, as reported by local authorities. The incident took place at approximately 11:19 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, near the intersection of East Kalamazoo Avenue and North Edwards Street, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
The victim, 38-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Ballentine, was reportedly walking in the street when she was hit. Emergency responders arrived promptly to provide medical assistance, and she was transported to a nearby hospital, where she unfortunately passed away on September 18 due to her injuries.
