Tremayne Javahn Long dies in fatal Birmingham shooting
Fatal Birmingham shooting death of Tremayne Javahn Long – Obituary
A 37-year-old man from Bessemer, Tremayne Javahn Long, was shot and killed in Birmingham during the early hours of the morning.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office reported that Long was involved in an altercation inside a package store located on the 1500 block of 3rd Avenue West around 12:40 a.m.
He was transported to UAB Hospital for medical care but succumbed to his injuries at 2:16 a.m. The Birmingham Police Department is currently treating Long’s death as a homicide.
