A man was killed in a shooting at a gas station parking lot in the early hours of Thursday morning. Authorities in Kansas City, MO, received reports of gunfire near 31st Street and Brooklyn shortly after midnight.
When officers arrived, they discovered the victim, Freddie V. Jackson, 45, suffering from gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators revealed that the incident stemmed from an argument that escalated into the shooting. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended.
