Fatal Linn County UTV crash death of Dalton Camp – Obituary
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the death of Dalton Camp, 27, of Anamosa, following a UTV crash on Saturday night. Authorities received a call around 7:08 p.m. reporting a vehicle in a ditch along the 600-block of Wapsi Banks Road. Upon arrival, responders discovered a UTV overturned in the ditch.
Dalton Camp, who was riding in the UTV, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. Another passenger was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by the Linn County Sheriff’s Office. Multiple emergency services, including Linn County Sheriff’s Rescue, Prairieburg Fire Department, Coggon Fire Department, Lifeguard Air Ambulance, and Anamosa Ambulance, responded to the crash.
