Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man fatally shot near Largo Town Center on Friday afternoon. The incident took place on September 20, shortly after 1 p.m., when officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) were dispatched to the 1000 block of Largo Center Drive in response to reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Craig Rogers II from Bowie lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are currently working to establish a motive and identify any potential suspects, with indications that this shooting was not a random act. In their efforts to find justice, police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment related to the case.
