Authorities are looking into a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred in Henrico over the weekend, which claimed the life of 51-year-old Gary Cox from Richmond. The incident took place early Sunday morning, shortly after 4 a.m., at the intersection of Brook Road and Wilmer Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Cox deceased in the roadway. According to preliminary investigations, it appears that Cox was heading north on Brook Road when he collided with the concrete median at the Wilmer Avenue intersection, resulting in him losing control of his motorcycle.
