Fatal Fargo shooting death of Jalab Moses – Obituary.
The Fargo Police Department has confirmed the identity of the man who was fatally shot early Saturday morning in north Fargo. The victim, Jalab Moses, aged 25, was from Fargo.
The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m. on September 21, outside a home located in the 1300 block of Eighth Avenue North, near the Family Fare supermarket.
According to a news release issued by the police on Sunday, the suspect, Tyreik Taylor-Roberts, 24, was known to Moses. The two were involved in a heated verbal dispute prior to the shooting. When officers arrived shortly after the incident, they found Moses deceased at the scene.
During questioning, Taylor-Roberts, who resides at the location of the incident, acknowledged that he had fired the shots. He was arrested without resistance and is now facing murder charges.
A section of the area around the Pershing Park apartment building was cordoned off on Saturday, with the neighborhood remaining quiet throughout the weekend.
Authorities have stated that there is no additional information available at this time, and the investigation is still ongoing.
