Colby James Tevis dies in fatal Sacramento shooting
Fatal Sacramento shooting death of Colby James Tevis – Obituary.
Colby James Tevis, 22, was fatally shot early Saturday morning on J Street in Midtown Sacramento. The shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. in the 2300 block of J Street, according to information released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
Tevis, along with another man, was transported to a nearby hospital where Tevis succumbed to his injuries. The other victim is reported to be in stable condition.
Sacramento Police are asking for the public’s assistance in the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the dispatch center at 916-808-5471 or Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-4357. Anonymous tips are welcome, and rewards up to $1,000 may be available.
