Fatal Broome County motorcycle crash claims life of Jared D. Warner – Obituary.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identity of the victim in a deadly motorcycle accident that occurred in the Town of Maine last week. On Thursday, September 1, around 8:04 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a single-motorcycle crash on East Maine Road, between Reynolds Road and Oakdale Road.
When officers arrived, they found 37-year-old Jared D. Warner, of Nineveh, thrown a considerable distance from his motorcycle. Despite efforts to save his life, Warner was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
The investigation revealed that Warner had been traveling at a high speed, which led to the loss of control and the fatal crash.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office received support from the Maine Emergency Squad, Maine Volunteer Fire Department, and the NYS Department of Transportation.
