Jeffrey Nash dies in fatal Utica shooting
Fatal Utica shooting death of Jeffrey Nash – Obituary.
The Utica Police Department has confirmed that the victim of the shooting that occurred on Saturday in the 1100 block of Brinckerhoff Avenue was 46-year-old Jeffrey Nash, a resident of Utica. The incident took place around 2:20 p.m. on September 21, when emergency services were called to assist a man with a gunshot wound, who has now been identified as Nash.
Nash was rushed to Wynn Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. According to Lieutenant Michael Curley, the public information officer for the police department, Nash was inside a residence on Brinckerhoff Avenue when he was shot by the homeowner.
The police are currently collaborating with the district attorney’s office to ascertain whether any criminal charges will be filed in connection with this incident. The investigation is ongoing.
