Fatal Berkeley County, SC shooting death of Katie Sullivan – Obituary
Katie Sullivan, 38, of Goose Creek, lost her life Monday night in what officials describe as a murder-suicide. The Berkeley County Coroner, Darnell Hartwell, confirmed that Sullivan died at the scene of the shooting on Keenan Avenue.
Authorities have identified the suspect as 31-year-old Michael Scott Vasko, also from Goose Creek. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m., and deputies responded after receiving a report of domestic violence with gunshots heard.
Upon arrival, deputies attempted to make contact and observed signs of a struggle. Inside the residence, they discovered Sullivan deceased and Vasko suffering from what appeared
