Fatal Taunton car crash death of Mallory Humphreys – Obituary
A 24-year-old woman from Massachusetts, Mallory Humphreys, tragically lost her life early Sunday morning when the vehicle she was a passenger in collided with a tractor-trailer on Route 44, officials have confirmed.
Humphreys, a resident of Taunton, was riding in a gray 2015 Infiniti driven by a 27-year-old man from Fall River. The accident occurred around 1:24 a.m. near 608 Winthrop St. as the car was heading eastbound, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
The driver of the Infiniti was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, while the 39-year-old driver of the tractor-trailer from Brockton was unharmed.
Sadly, Humphreys was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
