A shooting late Monday night in Northeast Central Durham has resulted in the death of 40-year-old Marquis Sinclair. The incident occurred near the intersection of North Hyde Park Avenue and Holloway Street, located east of downtown.
Authorities received reports of gunfire around 11:35 p.m. and arrived to find Sinclair with multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services transported him to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
