Neighbors expressed their shock upon learning about the tragic deaths. One resident described Martina as a devoted mother to Eleni, who faced significant challenges due to her disabilities. “She had a walking frame and would walk with her mum up and down the street,” the neighbor recalled.
Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley of Greater Manchester Police’s major incident team extended her condolences to the family, calling the situation a “tragic loss of life.” She assured that keeping the family informed during the investigation is a priority.
