Authorities have identified Daniel Lavelle, 40, as the victim of a tragic two-vehicle accident in Lisnaskea that occurred on the evening of September 25. The incident, involving a car and a lorry, took place on the Crom Road around 5:30 PM.
Roads Inspector Cherith Adair reported that emergency services responded promptly, but unfortunately, Mr. Lavelle was pronounced dead at the scene. A resident of the Donagh area, he was a father of five.
Inspector Adair noted that the lorry driver, a 48-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is currently in custody.
“Our detectives are looking into the details surrounding the collision and are eager to hear from any witnesses or individuals who may have dash-cam footage that could aid in the investigation,” she stated.
