The body of 16-year-old David Jackson, who went missing following a car accident, was discovered in a creek in Sitka, Alaska, according to authorities. The incident began on September 21 when officers responded to reports of a car crash involving injuries, as detailed in a Sitka Police Department Facebook post on September 23.
Upon arrival, officers learned that four people had been in the vehicle. However, only three individuals were accounted for, and they were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Four days later, on September 25, search efforts led to the discovery of Jackson’s body in the outflow of Sawmill Creek in Silver Bay. His family has been notified by police.
