Fatal Austin motorcycle crash death of Joshua Lee-Michael Babb – Obituary.
A motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a collision with a CapMetro bus has been identified as 33-year-old Joshua Lee-Michael Babb. The accident occurred on the morning of September 24, 2024, at approximately 7:40 a.m. in the 100 block of East Koenig Lane in Austin, Texas.
Austin Police Department officers arrived on the scene and confirmed that Babb was fatally injured in the crash. A passenger on the bus involved in the incident was also hurt, though their injuries were not life-threatening.
The Austin Police Department continues to investigate the crash. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit at 512-974-8111.
