Authorities in Pryor have identified the driver involved in a tragic hit-and-run that resulted in the death of 15-year-old Caiden Adkins on Sunday morning, September 22. The suspect was operating a semi-truck belonging to a Virginia-based company when the accident occurred.
Law enforcement reports that the trucking company has been cooperative and has provided dash cam footage from the day of the incident. However, the name of the company has not been disclosed, and the identity of the driver remains under wraps as charges have yet to be filed.
Pryor Police are currently awaiting the Mayes County District Attorney to formally file charges before proceeding with an arrest. Updates will be shared as they become available.
