The body of 55-year-old Natasha Reddington-Romanov was discovered in the River Thames after she went missing following a night out. Natasha was last spotted leaving a club in Soho around 2 a.m. on Friday, September 20, but authorities were not informed of her disappearance until Tuesday, September 24.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the remains found near Vauxhall Bridge on Saturday, September 21, were identified as belonging to Natasha. Officials stated that her death is currently not being investigated as suspicious, and an examination by the coroner is scheduled.
Natasha’s family has been notified of the tragic news. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police commented, “Officers engaged in the inquiry regarding a missing person report have recovered a body. We believe this to be that of Natasha Reddington-Romanov, who had been reported missing from Southwark. Her next of kin have been informed of this development.”
The police were alerted to the body’s discovery on September 21, and a missing persons investigation began following the report made on September 24. The authorities emphasized that while the death is unexpected, it does not raise any suspicions, and a report will be prepared for the coroner’s office.
