Fatal Price, Utah, crash death of Sang Her – Obituary
Authorities have identified the individuals involved in a tragic multi-vehicle accident on September 26, which resulted in five deaths. The Utah Department of Public Safety confirmed the identities of the victims: Sang Her, 56, and Lee Thao, 38, both from Brooklyn Center, Minnesota; Bee Moua, 26, and Mai Lor, 25, both from St. Paul, Minnesota; and Gustavo Mendoza, 35, of Helper, Utah.
Mendoza was riding a Honda ATV, while the others were traveling in a Nissan SUV. The fatal crash took place on US-6 at milepost 235 in Price. According to authorities, a silver SUV had stopped on Spring Glen Road and attempted to pull out into an acceleration lane but missed and entered a lane already occupied by a semi-truck pulling doubles. The truck attempted to swerve to avoid a collision but lost control, veering into westbound traffic. It collided with the Nissan SUV, which then went off the road and struck a rock embankment.
Simultaneously, the ATV rider was hit in the accident. The four people in the Nissan, along with the ATV rider, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the silver SUV, who sustained minor injuries, was treated at a local hospital. No further details have been released at this time.
