The Stroudsburg Athletic Director and Wrestling Coach, 38-year-old Sean Richmond, has been identified as the victim of a tragic accident that occurred Saturday evening on Interstate 380 Northbound. Authorities report that Richmond was en route to the school’s prom at Kalahari Resorts when the incident happened.
Emergency crews were dispatched shortly after 6:00 p.m. to mile marker 1.4 on I-380 Northbound, where a crash involving a tractor trailer and a pedestrian was reported. Richmond was taken to St. Luke’s Monroe Campus but later died from his injuries. The Pennsylvania State Police, along with Fire and EMS, responded to the scene. An autopsy has been scheduled, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
