Seth Webb dies in fatal Jackson, Michigan crash during UAW picket
Fatal Jackson crash claims life of Seth Webb – Obituary.
On Saturday, a crash in Jackson, Michigan, resulted in the death of 24-year-old Seth Webb, who was participating in a UAW picket line. The incident also left several others injured. According to the Jackson Police Department, a 2006 Ford pickup traveling east on Michigan Avenue lost control and veered off the road near East Avenue, striking multiple picketers. Witnesses stated that the truck appeared to be racing another vehicle at the time of the accident.
Authorities have identified the other driver involved. The 23-year-old driver of the pickup, who was found to be under the influence of alcohol, was arrested and taken into custody. His breath test results exceeded the legal alcohol limit, and he is expected to be arraigned on Monday, September 30.
Seth Webb succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, while two others remain critically injured. Two additional individuals were treated for minor injuries at the hospital. Police have emphasized that there is no evidence to suggest the crash was intentional.
