Andres Zamarron Jr., a 53-year-old man from Goodyear, was found deceased following a Silver Alert that was issued for him. He was last seen on foot leaving the Park Shadows apartment complex on Thursday.
The Silver Alert was canceled on Monday after Zamarron was discovered dead. His power of attorney had requested a welfare check on Sunday when he had not heard from Zamarron over the weekend, which was out of character for him. Authorities reported that he rarely left his apartment except for brief trips to a nearby Circle K store.
Zamarron’s last known card transaction was made at the Circle K on Friday. His cell phone pings indicated he was near the Park Shadows complex. Upon checking his apartment, authorities found it tidy and no signs of foul play. However, his phone charger and medication were present, while his keys and cellphone were missing. Further details regarding the circumstances of his death have not been released.
