Authorities identify Wendy M. Wojner killed in two-vehicle crash in Marathon County

Fatal Marathon County crash death of Wendy M. Wojner – Obituary

 

Wendy M. Wojner, a 75-year-old woman from Abbotsford, lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Friday in Marathon County. The accident took place at approximately 10:25 a.m. at the intersection of State 153 and Marathon County E in the town of Eau Pleine, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Wojner was driving one of the vehicles involved in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle sustained injuries that were not life-threatening and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Additional details regarding the condition of the second driver have not been disclosed.

 

The Marathon County Crash Reconstruction Team is currently investigating the incident. Following the crash, both eastbound and westbound lanes of State 153 were closed for about eight hours, reopening at 6:09 p.m. the same day.
