Fatal Toronto stabbing death of Dushi Lakshmanan – Obituary
Toronto Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing on Sunday as 54-year-old Dushi Lakshmanan. The incident occurred at a residence near Ellesmere Rd. and Orton Park Rd., where officers responded to reports of a stabbing just before 5 p.m. Lakshmanan was pronounced dead at the scene after being attacked with an edged weapon.
The accused, Ragulan Lakshmanan, 50, has been charged with second-degree murder. Police confirmed that the victim and the accused are brothers.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
