On Sunday, September 29, 2024, a pedestrian named Hatima Ayana Wilkins, 25, was tragically killed in a vehicle collision in south Macon. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call around 2:30 p.m. and found Wilkins unresponsive off Hawkinsville Road, south of Feagin Road.
Emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene, and it was determined that she had been struck by an unidentified vehicle.
