Jordan King dies in fatal Rockford single-car crash

Fatal Rockford single-car crash death of Jordan King – Obituary.

The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual who tragically lost his life in a single-car accident. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Jordan King from Loves Park.

 

The incident occurred early on September 30, around 2:15 A.M., in the 2700 block of North Alpine Road. Preliminary investigations indicate that King was driving southbound when he crossed over the center median, entered the northbound lanes, and ultimately struck a tree after leaving the roadway.

 

Upon arrival, Rockford Police and Fire Department personnel discovered King unresponsive and not breathing. First responders initiated life-saving measures and transported him to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, King was pronounced dead at 2:50 A.M. An autopsy revealed that he died from blunt trauma to the chest and abdomen as a result of the collision.

 

The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office and the Rockford Police Department are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding King’s death.
