Kameron Banks dies in fatal Manhattan motorcycle accident

Fatal Manhattan motorcycle accident death of Kameron Banks – Obituary.

The Riley County Police Department reported a tragic motorcycle accident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Manhattan on Friday, September 27. Kameron Banks, 19, was riding his Honda CX500 Custom motorcycle westbound on Tuttle Creek Boulevard (US-24) around 9:30 p.m. when he struck Travell Toliver, 49, who was crossing the highway.

 

Toliver was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. Meanwhile, Banks sustained injuries and was initially transported by Riley County EMS to Ascension Via Christi, then later airlifted to Stormont Vail in Topeka. He is expected to recover from his injuries.

 

Authorities closed the road for several hours to facilitate the investigation, with assistance from the Kansas Department of Transportation in redirecting traffic. The Riley County Police Department is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to reach out at (785) 537-2112 or provide tips through Crime Stoppers.
