Fatal Oceanside motorcycle crash death of Karl Trayvilla – Obituary.
Authorities have released the identities of two men who lost their lives in motorcycle accidents in the San Diego area over the past few days. The first incident occurred on Saturday shortly before 2 p.m., involving a motorcycle operated by 30-year-old Karl Trayvilla from Carlsbad. Trayvilla collided with another motorcycle traveling south on South Coast Highway in Oceanside.
After the impact, he was thrown onto the road near West Street and subsequently struck by an approaching vehicle. Emergency medical personnel transported him to Tri-City Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The second tragic incident happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Monday, when a car rear-ended a motorcycle at high speed on eastbound state Route 94, close to College Avenue in Lemon Grove. The rider, 47-year-old John Nealis from El Cajon, was thrown off his motorcycle and died at the scene, as reported by the medical examiner.
