Marcy Robison dies in fatal Merced County crash
Fatal Merced County crash death of Marcy Robison – Obituary.
A tragic accident occurred on Highway 152 in Merced County, claiming the life of 37-year-old Marcy Robison, a resource specialist at Bud Rank Elementary in Clovis. The crash took place on Friday afternoon when a 64-year-old man driving a Ford F150 traveled east in the westbound lanes for approximately five to six miles before colliding with another vehicle.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the F150 first side-swiped a vehicle near Box Car Road before later colliding head-on with Robison’s 2016 Honda Pilot. Both vehicles caught fire upon impact, and sadly, both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, it remains unclear if alcohol or drugs contributed to the incident. The Merced County Coroner’s Office has not yet identified the driver of the F150. Following the tragic news, the principal of Bud Rank Elementary sent an email expressing the school community’s heartbreak and commitment to supporting Robison’s family and students during this difficult time. School psychologists are available to assist students and staff as they process the loss.
