Fatal Westwood car crash death of Robert Czerwinski – Obituary
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office has identified 85-year-old Robert Czerwinski from Green Township as the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in Westwood on Friday.
Czerwinski was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Queen City and Boudinot avenues, as reported by the coroner’s office and Cincinnati police.
Authorities responded to the crash at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Friday in the 2900 block of Boudinot Avenue. Investigations revealed that a 17-year-old driving a 2016 Ford Focus ran a red light at the intersection, striking a 2016 Toyota Camry. As a result, the Camry collided with a nearby building on Queen City Avenue.
The 17-year-old driver and the 46-year-old man driving the Camry were both transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening. No charges have been filed yet, though police are considering excessive speed as a possible factor.
