A tragic shooting in Old Hickory, Nashville, has led to the death of 17-year-old Caleb Womack, as confirmed by the Metro Nashville Police Department. Womack was shot at a duplex on Bryan Street early Friday morning.
According to his girlfriend, Kylee Harter, she received alarming news from her cousin, who reported hearing a loud bang at Womack’s residence. Police responded to the scene shortly after 12:30 a.m., where they discovered that multiple shots had struck the duplex.
At the time of the incident, Womack was reportedly inside the home with two friends. Neighbors also reported hearing a vehicle leave the area shortly after the gunfire. Authorities have not yet disclosed the number of suspects involved in this ongoing investigation.
