Kaitlin Wester dies in fatal Lynnwood pedestrian accident
Fatal Lynnwood pedestrian death of Kaitlin Wester – Obituary.
Kaitlin Wester, a 29-year-old resident of Lynnwood, was tragically killed when she was struck by a vehicle on Highway 99 on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. as Wester was walking southbound in the left lane near Shelby Road when she was hit by a Mazda CX-5 driven by a 45-year-old woman from Everett, who was also heading south.
Wester succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident. The Washington State Patrol released her identity on Wednesday. Fortunately, the driver of the Mazda did not sustain any injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
