Austin police have identified a pedestrian who tragically died in a hit-and-run accident. The incident occurred on September 25 at around 9:32 p.m. in the 4600 block of E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, where 28-year-old Kameron Hartman was crossing the street and was struck first by a white SUV, followed by another vehicle.
Hartman was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the white SUV remained at the site, was uninjured, and is cooperating with law enforcement. In contrast, the driver of the second vehicle fled the scene without offering assistance.
