Authorities have identified the victim of a shooting in Portland that occurred early Saturday morning. Niyjiel Troishon Brown, a 19-year-old from Texas, was found deceased in an apartment courtyard located in the 7800 block of Southeast Aspen Summit Drive.
Police have confirmed that his family has been informed of his passing. The Medical Examiner has ruled the cause of death a homicide due to gunshot wounds.
