Fatal Atlanta overdose death of Rich Homie Quan – Obituary.
Rich Homie Quan, the popular rapper, passed away due to a fatal overdose involving a combination of drugs, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner in Georgia. His death, ruled as accidental, occurred last month just before his 35th birthday.
Quan’s girlfriend found him unresponsive at their Atlanta home, and after calling 911, she reported that he wasn’t breathing and had no heartbeat. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. The toxicology report also indicated the presence of THC, but it was the other substances that led to his death.
Rich Homie Quan has since been laid to rest, and his estate has released a posthumous song and music video featuring scenes from his funeral.
