Robby Pokorny, a 63-year-old man from Fresno, tragically lost his life after being struck by a van while riding his bicycle in Clovis on September 18. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. near the intersection of Clovis Avenue and Saginaw Avenue, just south of Ashlan Avenue, when Pokorny was crossing the road.
Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his critical injuries on September 30. The driver of the van remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation by Clovis Police, who are still determining the cause of the accident.
